|Saeed Ahmed Bablani is Assistant Professor in the Centre for Geology, University of Sindh, Jamshoro since 1995 and his field of specialization is Hydrogeology & Geophysics. He has passed MS in Petroleum Geosciences from University of Trondheim, Norway and M. Sc. In Geophysics from Quaid e Azam University, Islamabad. He has passed postgraduate course in Energy Planning & Environment from International Summer School, University of Oslo and postgraduate course in Ground Water Tracing Techniques from Technical University of Graz, Austria. He has also recieved training in 2D & 3D resistivity imaging from ABEM Instruments, Stockholm, Sweden. Mr. Bablani is registered as Ph.D scholar at Sindh University and actively engaged in research on seawater intrusions in coastal areas of southern Sindh and its environmental effects.|
He has 14 research publication to his credit and has presented papers in conferences including one on seawater intrusion in international Conference on salt water intrusion, held at Cagliari, Italy in 2006. He is a member of many professional organization/societies and has participated in many seminars, symposiums & workshops at national and international level. Mr. Bablani has experience of planning, designing,feasibility studies, EIA and implementation of geo-scientific projects, specially for exploration & exploitation of ground water resources. He has also worked as consultant for water and coal related projects. Mr. Saeed is a Member of Board of Studies at the Department of Earth Sciences, Quaid e Azam University, Islamabad. Moreover, he is visiting faculty and is on the list of approved examiner at some universities of Pakistan.
