Dr. Habibullah Siddiqui is a retired Chairman of Sindh Text Book Board and has done Ph.D in Muslim History. He is a Gold Medalist in Masters in Education and a Research Scholar and author of more than one dozen books in English and Sindhi. He has served in the field of education for 43 years as a teacher, teacher-trainer, educational administrator and curriculum expert. On retirement, he was taken up as a member on the Federal Education Advisory Board as well as on two provincial boards of the Sindh Education Department and the Azad State of Jammu and Kashmir.
He was nominated as Chairman District Education Board, Dadu, and member Board of Governors of Hyderabad Public School. At present, he is member on the Board of Governors of Sindh Text Book Board and Sindhi Adabi Board. He is a member of the Senate of the University of Sindh for the second consecutive term and also serves as an honourary member of the editorial boards. He has received several gold medals, trophies and awards for his contribution in the field of education, research and social work including President of Pakistan’s medal for promotion of Boy Scouting.
His latest book, “Insaan-ji-Tarikh”, two volumes is widely acknowledged as the most valuable contribution in Sindhi Language on modern education and learning. Currently he is busy writing his research diary titled the World of Man, in English.
